Job Description

• Provides direct and indirect patient care. 
• Communicates with physicians, nurse managers, co-workers, as appropriate related to changes in patient's clinical condition including diagnostic study results and symptomatology.
• Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Is able to perform general nursing duties.
• Must be able to assume responsibility for unit patient populations. 
• Must understand and be willing to adhere to the service excellence standards established.
• Must demonstrate the ability to complete thorough patient assessments. 
• Must demonstrate effective communication skills necessary to interact efficiently with all customers. 
• Must be able to work independently and demonstrate ability to delegate appropriately. 
• Must be able to effectively function in unexpected crisis in a calm, confident manner. 
• Must be willing to adjust schedule to meet unit needs, float to and work in other areas as assigned and accept low census as needed.
• Must work required weekends and holidays.
• Must adhere to all staffing and personnel policies.
• Must keep all required licensures and certifications current.

Submission Requirements

• 1 year Emergency Department experience- Required
• If COVID vaccinated, provide vaccination card- Required

Certification Requirements

• ACLS (AHA)
• BLS (AHA)
• PALS (AHA)

State License Requirements

• Ohio or Compact RN License
