RAC Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES

The Recovery Audit Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the receiving, reviewing and preparing paperwork in response to all payer post-payment audit requests.  This position is responsible for preparing the response to the audit by collecting and providing requested information to the payer.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

A high school graduate or equivalent is required. A combined minimum of (3) years’ experience in hospital or physician billing, collections and/or auditing is required. Must have knowledge of Texas Medicaid, Medicare, Commercial insurance programs.  Must possess strong interpersonal and communications skills.
