Job Title: Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (Float Pool)
Facility Type: Union Facility | Level II Trauma Center
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 36 hours/week (open to 48 hours)

Position Overview:

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of recent and relevant Emergency Department experience required
• Prior experience in a Level II Trauma Center preferred

Patient Ratio:

• Typically 1:5; may increase depending on case load

Licensure & Certifications:

Required:

• Active Registered Nurse license with the Michigan State Board of Nursing
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)

Preferred/Nice-to-Have:

• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
• ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) or PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention)
