Registered Nurse (RN) – Southern Illinois Healthcare (SIH)
Location: Southern Illinois
Schedule: 4x10 hour shifts/week (rotating day off)
Call Requirement: 1 weeknight & 2 weekend days per month

Position Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) will deliver patient-centered care, utilizing clinical judgment and collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs
Plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
Provide patient education and explanations to the patient or responsible party
Use nursing judgment to report changes in patient condition
Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
Promote a healthy work environment through professional communication and conflict resolution
Fulfill responsibilities related to core measures and participate in ongoing education

Licensure & Certifications Required:

Active Illinois RN License
BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
Additional certifications based on unit assignment (see below)

Certifications by Department (as applicable):

ICU / Progressive / Stepdown: ACLS
Cardiac Services (Cath Lab, EKG, etc.): ACLS
Emergency Room / Recovery Room: ACLS, PALS
Mother-Baby / NICU / Pediatrics: NRP, PALS
Infusion / Radiation / SDS / Imaging / Therapy Services: As per unit protocols
