Travel RN – Labor & Delivery | Day Shift | 13-Week Contract 
 Shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | 3x12s | 13 Weeks
Start Date : ASAP

Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Location: Asheville, NC
Float Areas: MFMU, MOMB, NICU (as needed)
 

Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced and adaptable Labor & Delivery RN to join a busy, high-acuity L&D unit. If you have a passion for supporting moms and babies through every stage of labor, this is your chance to make an impact while working with a supportive and collaborative team.

Unit Details:

• Unit: Labor & Delivery (16 beds)
• Staffing: RNs, CSTs, PCTs, and Charge Nurses on both day & night shifts
• Patient Ratios: 1:1 or 1:2 depending on acuity
• EMR: Cerner & Fetalink
• Equipment: Baxter Pumps, Philips Electronic Fetal Monitoring

Typical Procedures:

• Vaginal Deliveries
• Cesarean Sections
• D&C
• Cerclage
• Cesarean-Hysterectomy (C-Hyst)

Required Experience:
✅ Minimum 2 years recent L&D experience
✅ High-risk pregnancy experience
✅ Immediate newborn care

Preferred Skills:
⭐ Circulating experience
⭐ Adaptability to float to MFMU, MOMB, or NICU when needed

Required Certifications:

• BLS/ALS
• NRP
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring

Dress Code:

• Scrubs provided by the facility
