Job Title: Clinical Laboratory Technologist

Location: Bronx, New York, NY 10029

Department: Pathology

Shifts: Must be available for all 3 shifts (12:00 AM – 8:00 AM, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM)

Pay Rate: $55- $60 per hour on W2

Position Summary : We are seeking experienced and licensed Clinical Laboratory Technologists to join our team at Metropolitan Hospital in New York. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing laboratory tests and procedures to support diagnosis and treatment of disease.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform complex laboratory tests in areas such as hematology, chemistry, microbiology, blood bank, and immunology.

Analyze specimens, validate test results, and maintain accurate records.

Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments.

Adhere to quality control and quality assurance procedures.

Follow safety protocols and infection control standards.

Participate in rotating shifts, weekends, and holiday schedules.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 year of experience as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist.

Valid Clinical Laboratory Technologist license (092) issued by New York State

Education Department (NYSED) – Primary Source Verification required.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – preferred.
