Job Summary:

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Finance to lead financial operations for our large-scale retail real estate portfolio. This role will oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and capital planning, while partnering with executive leadership to drive financial performance and long-term growth. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in real estate finance, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven ability to manage complex financial structures across multiple properties and business units.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes across the retail real estate portfolio.
• Manage cash flow, capital expenditures, and debt compliance for property-level and corporate-level financing.
• Partner with asset management, leasing, and development teams to evaluate investment opportunities and optimize portfolio performance.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Present financial results and strategic recommendations to the executive team and board of directors.
• Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA or CPA strongly preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within retail real estate or commercial property management.
• Strong understanding of real estate financial modeling, lease accounting, and capital markets.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Yardi, MRI, JD Edwards) and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
