Job Description
Nemours Children's Hospital, Delaware is hiring a Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner to join our team!

That's where we come in. At Nemours Children's, our behavioral health experts help our patients find the causes of a child's emotions and behavior. Key Responsibilities
Have a full panel of patients with psychiatric needs ages 6-21 years of age in an outpatient setting completing comprehensive diagnostic evaluations, developing and executing ongoing treatment plans, including medication management and coordinating care with relevant disciplines and services.
Will work collaboratively with physicians, nurse practitioners, consultants, nurses, and other health care providers
Participate in departmental meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
Participate in educational functions of the department (e.g. didactic teaching, precepting trainees, consultation with primary care)
Participate in relevant enterprise-wide initiatives and committees.
Assist with coverage of Consult Liaison Service primarily through at-home call weeknights and weekends and, when needed, daytime service as instructed by department leadership. Weeknight and weekend call is compensated separately.

Qualifications
Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Practitioner (PMHNP).
American Heart Association BLS Certification
Pediatric experience preferred
