**Full or Part-Time**REPORTS TO:**Dental Director**LOCATION:**Dunlap or Rice Street Clinics**Dentists working at Open Cities may be eligible for loan repayment through the National Health Service Corp. **DUTIES PERFORMED:** Assists the Dental Director in developing guidelines for dental treatment and priorities for dental care at OCHC.* Examines, diagnoses, and establishes treatment plans for patients.* Provides dental treatments and/or refers patients to the appropriate agency or professional individual when indicated.* Provides emergency services to patients as needed.* Performs other clinical duties as assigned by the Dental Director.* Performs quality assurance audits and peer reviews as assigned.* Provides dental education to clinic clients in individual or group settings.* Maintains accurate and complete patient records within the EMR and closes out accounts according to clinic standards.* Provide direction to the assigned dental assistant and work closely with the assigned dental hygienist to provide effective team-based patient care.* Provides clinical supervision to Dental Therapist(s).* Shares on-call duties for the dental department.* Participates in staff and clinic meetings.*MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:** Graduation from an accredited dental school with a D.D.S., D.M.D., or equivalent degree.* Current licensure to practice dentistry in Minnesota.* Ongoing BLS certification.* Strong communication skills (oral and written) and interactive personal relational skills.* Demonstrated ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and beliefs.*DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

** Experience working in an FQHC or with underserved patients.* Fluency in Somali, Spanish, or Hmong.* Residency training.* Experience and expertise in endodontics or pediatric dental care.Pay

$160,000.00 - $165,000.00 per yearWork Location
