Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and reliable Line Cook to join our back-of-house team. The ideal candidate is dedicated to high standards of food quality and presentation, thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, and takes pride in contributing to a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute dishes to exact specifications and recipes

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in the kitchen

• Ensure proper station setup and breakdown before and after service

• Follow direction from executive chef while taking initiative during downtime

• Manage prep lists and inventory efficiently

• Uphold food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times

• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth and efficient service

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of line cook experience in a professional kitchen (open to recent culinary grads or motivated individuals with strong stage experience)

• Strong knife skills and understanding of kitchen equipment

•  Strong knowledge of butchering meat, fish, and poultry

• Ability to remain calm under pressure and multitask effectively

• Punctuality, reliability, and a positive attitude

• Passion for food, learning, and growth within the hospitality industry

• ServSafe Certificate and New York Food Handlers License is a plus
