We’re thrilled to announce the upcoming opening of Corio, a new neighborhood dining experience located in University City. Our menu features housemade pasta, pizza, and other Italian-adjacent dishes, alongside a curated wine selection and full bar and cocktail program. As we prepare for our grand opening, we are looking to bolster our team with passionate, enthusiastic individuals for a variety of front-of-house positions.

We Are Hiring for the Following Positions:

- Servers

- Bartenders

- Counter Clerks & Baristas

- Food Runners

- Hosts

Position Overview:

We’re seeking dynamic individuals with a love for hospitality and a passion for food and drink. Whether you’re an experienced server, bartender, barista, or food runner, we want people who are excited to join a fast-paced, energetic team and contribute to the guest experience. You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced sommelier and restaurant operators, while expanding your food and beverage knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

Servers:

  - Provide attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly service to guests.

  - Take orders, recommend menu items and ensure a memorable dining experience.

  - Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.

  - Demonstrate and develop strong beverage knowledge about both wine and cocktails.

  

Bartenders:

  - Mix and serve a wide variety of drinks and cocktails.

  - Assist in development and execution of changing cocktail menus

  - Assist guests with wine recommendations

  - Maintain a clean and organized bar area.

Counter Clerks, Baristas:

  - Manage a coffee station &, providing excellent customer service.

  - Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso drinks.

  - Handle counter quick service, ensuring efficient service for guests.

  - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and work area.

  - Assist in handling quick-service orders during busy periods.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a similar role 

- A base knowledge of wine and vinification and a commitment for learning more.

- Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude.

- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

- A love for food, beverages, especially housemade pasta and pizza.

- Availability to work flexible hours, including days, nights and weekends.
