We are seeking a polished and professional host or hostess to be our guests' first point of contact. As the face of Niku X, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and seamless dining experience. The ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, upscale environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm and professional demeanor.
- Manage reservations and walk-ins using our reservation system.
- Maintain an organized and efficient seating chart to ensure smooth service flow.
- Communicate effectively with the front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
- Provide accurate wait times and accommodate guest requests when possible.
- Assist with coat check, menu presentation, and any special guest needs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, fine dining, or a similar customer-facing role preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and stay composed under pressure.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Experience with OpenTable or other reservation systems is a plus.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
