General Manager

Dancerobot, the long-awaited Japanese restaurant from James Beard nominated chef, Jesse Ito, is opening this summer in Rittenhouse!


We are seeking an exceptional and dynamic General Manager to join the opening team. Our ideal candidate would join the team in June 2025 to accelerate our Summer opening. 

Working in tandem with our executive chef, senior management, and ownership, the General Manager would be in charge of duties regarding the opening of Dancerobot, as well as the daily management of property and staff moving forward.

We’re looking for candidates who are passionate about food, beverage, and hospitality and who lead by example in terms of professionalism, menu and product knowledge and decision making.

Candidates should have 3+ years of management experience in high-volume, high quality establishments. Experience with Japanese food and beverage is a plus, but is not required. Bonus if you've been involved in a previous restaurant opening!

Duties include:

• Running seamless daily services in coordination with the BOH team
• Day-to-day operations in a high volume environment
• Leadership of the FOH team including scheduling, hiring, training and ongoing education
• Administrative aspects of the business including payroll, building maintenance, monitoring costs and managing vendor relationships
