Managing Partner (General Manager) – Bulla Gastrobar (Charlotte, NC)
Pay: $85,000 – $90,000 per year | Full-Time | 5-Day Work Week | Monthly Dining Credit
Bulla Gastrobar is a lively, modern restaurant inspired by Spanish and Catalan cuisine. Known for bold flavors, a bustling atmosphere, and genuine hospitality, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Managing Partner (General Manager) to lead our Charlotte location.
This role requires a strong operational leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and is dedicated to delivering outstanding guest experiences while driving strong business results.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of daily operations with a focus on hospitality, efficiency, and profitability
- Create and execute strategic plans to achieve sales and labor goals
- Lead recruitment, hiring, and team development to ensure a high-performing staff
- Foster a culture of accountability, recognition, and guest engagement
- Ensure a superior guest experience through active floor management and team coaching
- Manage restaurant financials, including P&L, inventory, forecasting, and cost control
- Ensure policies related to scheduling, evaluations, and performance are implemented effectively
- Maintain full understanding and oversight of POS systems and cash handling procedures
Requirements
- Must have open availability and be able to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed
- 3–5 years of General Manager or equivalent leadership experience in a high-volume restaurant
- Strong understanding of financials (P&L, labor, budgets, forecasting)
- Proficiency with restaurant management and reporting software
- Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills
- Highly organized and skilled at prioritizing under pressure
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus (not required)
