We're seeking a candidate with 5 years prior experience to take the lead in our newly expanded Reading Terminal Market cafe.
This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious chef focused on helping staff develop their skills, recipe development, and brand growth in the local marketplace.
Part of our expansion is the launch of two new food trucks (Beck's Cajun Cruisers) this Spring.
The right candidate will have a complete working knowledge of most cuisines. *Bilingual ability is a bonus.
This is a completely hands-on management position. Our high-volume environment requires good organizational abilities, quick short-order cooking, catering production, and light baking skills.
The right candidate will demonstrate in an interview their track record of working in a team, directing a team, and a commitment to the culinary field
Additional Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
From scratch production; managing turn out; making large batches quantities; assisting with food prep; training and mentoring staff; food costing, and overseeing the kitchen.

Excellent base salary (commensurate with experience), plus quarterly bonus- 55 hours per week, all holidays off, and a great schedule.
