We are hiring a skilled and meticulous Sushi Chef to join our award-winning culinary team. This role is ideal for a chef who balances technical mastery with a refined, artistic eye—capable of delivering exceptional sushi experiences within a high-volume, upscale environment.
Key Responsibilities:
– Execute all sushi preparations with precision, from traditional to modern styles
– Maintain fish inventory, portion control, and freshness standards
– Ensure proper hygiene, knife handling, and workstation cleanliness
– Collaborate with Executive Chef on specialty rolls and seasonal menus
– Uphold guest experience through elegant presentation and consistency
Requirements:
– 3+ years experience as a Sushi Chef in a fine dining or high-end environment
– Exceptional knife skills and ingredient knowledge
– Understanding of Japanese flavor profiles, rice seasoning, and plating aesthetics
– Ability to thrive under pressure and remain detail-oriented
– Team-oriented with strong communication skills
