Moby’s in East Hampton is seeking a seasoned Restaurant Manager to join our leadership team for the 2025 summer season. This is a full-time, seasonal position with housing provided.
Our restaurant features a market-driven, Coastal Italian-inspired menu and a dynamic, high-volume service environment. We are looking for a hospitality professional who is passionate, service-driven, and committed to excellence.
The ideal candidate is a strong, mid-career leader with a proven track record in fast-paced, guest-focused environments. This is an opportunity to contribute to a well-established team while continuing to grow within a respected hospitality group.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and inspire FOH team to deliver warm, attentive, high-level hospitality
Oversee daily service with a strong presence on the floor, especially during peak hours
Manage daily operations, including reservations, floor plans, labor tracking, and service execution
Partner with the beverage team to support and execute wine and cocktail service
Train, mentor, and motivate staff to meet performance and service standards
Maintain operational excellence and ensure adherence to health and safety protocols
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager in a high-volume, full-service environment
Background in fine dining and/or coastal cuisine a plus
Strong knowledge of hospitality and service fundamentals
Proficiency with reservation platforms, particularly Resy
Experience managing labor and interpreting daily sales and performance reports
Familiarity with Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides)
Wine and beverage program knowledge preferred
