Optometrist for Senior Care Visits

*Optometrist * *1 Visit Weekly* *The MedServ Group* *Part Time Compensation*: $125.00 -$140.00 per hour, $40.00 -$45.00 per patient or 35%-40% of collections ($1050-$1200 per visit). The *MedServ Group* is a rapidly growing medical practice that provides residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities with top-of-the-line care. We are currently searching for a talented *Optometrist* to join our team! You will use your clinical and interpersonal skills to provide the highest quality of care to our patients. The ideal *Optometrist *is confident, compassionate, and committed to delivering quality healthcare to the elderly population *Optometrist Responsibilities*
* Performing comprehensive eye exams.
* Diagnosing and assisting in the treatment of ocular disease.
* Prescribing corrective lenses or eye medications as needed.
* Providing pre and post-operative care to surgical patients.
* Promoting healthy vision by counseling and educating patients. *Optometrist Requirements*
* Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree and active state license.
* Ability to communicate with a wide range of patient personalities.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* A strong sense of workplace professionalism and personal ethics.
* Customer-service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills. *General Information *
* 7-8 hours visiting patients plus paperwork.
* Schedule: Monday-Friday (typically 9:00AM-5:00PM). Flexible schedules also available.
* 22-25 patients per visit, preventative care
