Get to Know Your Team: UT Health Athens is a 127-bed facility, including a 24-hour ED, designated as a Level IV trauma center and Level III stroke center; advanced diagnostic technology; 10-bed ICU; maternity unit radiation therapy center; and a stand-alone ED in Gun Barrel City. Responsibilities Performs CT studies/ procedures for patients of all ages (neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric) utilizing ionizing radiation and treatment of disease. Functions under the general supervision of the CT supervisor and in cooperation with the radiologists. This position is subject to overtime and call back as required by the hospital. Qualifications Job Requirements: High School Diploma or Equivalent Associate degree in Radiography from an accredited college Upon completion of an accredited radiology program, the employee will have 90 days to become ARRT registered and licensed through the Texas Medical Board. Basic Life Support Preferred Job Requirements: 2 years as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist Preferred CT Experience Preferred
