They will work with design engineers to write design verification plans for power and signal integrity, as well as for standard and custom communication interfaces between integrated circuits and circuit boards.
They will focus on design verification, taking designs from subsystem testing and initial build through functional testing and system performance validation.
They will review designs from a Design For Test perspective
They will develop methodologies to test, including development of fixtures if needed
They will create test script in collaboration with design and FW engineers
They will be using software simulation tools, to model circuits and systems, to analyze performance, identify failure modes, and optimize designs. They will ensure proper test execution, data collection and review, as well as demonstrate system requirement verification.
They will troubleshoot and propose viable fixes when faced with electrical failures. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate testing activities and analyze results, ensuring the successful implementation of the proposed fixes.
