Job Description
Our Clients are leading Global Financial Institutions. They are looking for a Sr. Associate or Vice President in Project Finance and Portfolio Management for their Infrastructure & Energy Group, including in renewables financing (which is a strong growth area for the bank).
This is a Client Facing role providing great exposure to different financing structures, products, and technologies.
Role & Responsibility
- Staying on top of developments in a portfolio of construction and operating projects (wind, solar, battery storage, and other sustainable energy technologies) and market developments at large and proactively assessing how they can impact the portfolio.
- Assist with the monitoring of the portfolio by researching and collecting market, sector outlook, and transaction data, and updating/maintaining the relevant internal databases.
- Review Borrower’s financial condition – review historical financials and prepare cash flow projections.
- Prepare and maintain operating performance tables for specific transactions and analyze the drivers of performance.
- Track ratings of different counterparties (off-takers, guarantors, and other major counterparties).
- Assist in draw and disbursements packages.
- Review and analyze Letter of Credit issuances.
- Assist with Portfolio analytics and portfolio projections.
- Maintain ongoing compliance with internal reporting requirements.
- Assist on any audit requests and portfolio administrative tasks as needed.
- Manage communications with Lenders.
Requirements
- MBA or technical graduate degrees preferred.
- 4-5 years of relevant work experience for an Associate and 5-7 years for a VP, working in either Infrastructure, Oil and Gas, Utilities, Energy, Renewables, Solar, Wind, Battery Storage, Structured Debt, or Project Finance.
- Prior work experience at a bank is a plus.
- Strong credit analysis skills a plus.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
Salary Range
- Senior Associate - $150,000 - $200,000
- Vice President - $200,000 - $300,000
