A leading private equity firm is establishing an Office of the CFO and is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to play a key role in financial leadership across its portfolio companies. The ideal candidate will have a Big Four background and deep expertise in Quality of Earnings (QoE), financial modeling, valuations, and financial due diligence (FDD). Experience in restructuring is highly preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial due diligence (FDD), valuations, and quality of earnings (QoE) analyses.
- Develop and refine financial models to support strategic decision-making.
- Partner with private equity stakeholders to optimize financial performance across portfolio companies.
- Implement and improve financial reporting, forecasting, and operational efficiencies.
- Support M&A activity, post-merger integration, and restructuring efforts as needed.
- Serve as a strategic advisor on capital structure, liquidity management, and risk mitigation.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 15-25+ years of financial leadership experience, preferably with Big Four background.
- Strong expertise in financial due diligence, valuations, and quality of earnings (QoE).
- Deep financial modeling experience with a proven track record in private equity environments.
- Restructuring experience is a strong plus but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth private equity setting.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Compensation & Structure:
Contract position with the potential for contract-to-hire within a portfolio company (not required). Competitive compensation based on experience.
