Position: Principal Consulting Actuary - Health

Location: Remote
Salary: $250,000-300,000 + Bonus

Actuarial Summary:
We are seeking an experienced health actuary capable of collaborating with industry leaders and top-tier clients, including insurance companies and health systems. You’ll lead client engagements, project management, and strategic initiatives while developing innovative solutions. Projects may include bid development, feasibility studies, experience analyses, and product design. You’ll provide insights on pricing, market positioning, and financial strategy while working alongside the Health and Life Sciences consulting team. This role offers high visibility, leadership opportunities, and the chance to shape impactful client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications:

1. Serve as an FSA-level actuarial consultant with 10+ years of experience, providing expertise across a range of client engagements.
2. Lead business development efforts by building client relationships, identifying opportunities, and driving the growth of consulting engagements.
3. Communicate complex actuarial concepts clearly and effectively through strong written and verbal communication skills.
4. Manage multiple projects efficiently, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
5. Work independently while overseeing and mentoring junior staff in client pursuits, project execution, and intellectual capital development.
