About the Role:
Our client, a top national brokerage and risk management firm, is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join their Employee Benefits team. This remote role focuses on strategic consulting, enrollment leadership, and relationship development across a diverse client portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a full book of Employee Benefits accounts with a focus on service quality and retention
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurance carriers
- Communicate clearly and consistently with clients and internal teams
- Develop marketing strategies to optimize plan design, funding, and pricing
- Lead renewal processes and oversee RFP management
- Coordinate annual Open Enrollment, including employee-facing communications and materials
Qualifications & Expertise
- 7+ years of experience in the Employee Benefits industry
- Valid State Life, Accident, and Health Broker’s License
- Strong knowledge of financial underwriting, self-insurance (Medical/Rx), and alternative funding models like captives and reference-based pricing Must Have
- Industry experience in high-demand sectors such as engineering, biotech, or pharma
- Proven ability to grow revenue and support new client acquisition
- Proficient in benefit guide development, plan implementation, and benefits administration project management
- Strong financial analysis and market trend interpretation skills
Compensation
Base Salary: Up to $150K, commensurate with experience and expertise.
