Role Overview

The Senior Medical Science Liaison (Sr. MSL) is a field-facing representative of US Medical Affairs responsible for engaging with external customers such as healthcare providers, researchers, and professional organizations. The role involves exchanging scientific data, understanding customer needs, and providing insights on research developments and treatment landscapes. The Sr. MSL will also lead, coach, and mentor colleagues and manage special projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Act as the primary clinical/scientific resource to healthcare providers in the territory.
2. Lead congress coverage efforts and present clinical, scientific, and economic data on Eisai's products.
3. Establish and maintain relationships with KOLs and external investigators.
4. Mentor and train new or less experienced MSLs and lead strategic projects.
5. Communicate key scientific and clinical information about Eisai's products and foster collaboration for future research.
6. Provide insights from the field on research developments and treatment trends.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD, etc.).
• For Sr. MSL: 1.5-3+ years in pharma/biotech, preferably in oncology.
• For Principal MSL: 8+ years in oncology, with at least 5 years as an MSL.
• Experience in mentoring and strong knowledge of oncology.
• Ability to travel approximately 60% of the time.
• Valid driver's license and ability to set up a home-based office.

Compensation

Salary ranges: Sr. MSL: $160,100 - $210,100; Principal MSL: $182,200 - $239,085 annually.
