Our Investment Banking Group provides clients with the fullrange of financing and advisory services to achieve management'sobjectives throughout the entire business life cycle. WedbushSecurities is seeking an experienced investment banker withsignificant sell-side experience. Our San Francisco HealthcareInvestment Banking Group is seeking an experienced Vice President tojoin our team in the Healthcare sector. In addition, will developday-to-day client interaction responsibilities and assumeresponsibility for managing and mentoring junior staff.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide transaction support to senior bankers on a broad rangeof corporate finance transactions including IPOs, secondaryofferings, private placements, mergers & acquisitions
- Plan, structure and execute financing transactions in thepublic and private markets
- Financial analysis and modeling; conduct industry and market research
- Assist in preparation of company marketing and transactionsmaterials; prepare client presentations; perform due diligence
- Analyze financial statements, review and assess businessplans, and manage day-to-day contact with clients and related parties
- Advising corporations on mergers and acquisitions
- Interact with clients during presentations and deal executions
- Perform other tasks and duties as required and assigned
Experience and Skills
- MBA, CFA, CPA or other advanced degree/credentials desired
- At least 5 years of relevant investment banking experience
- Highly proficient in financial statement analysis
- Advanced financial modeling and financial statement analysis skills
- Life Sciences / Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of Capital IQ, Thomson One, Venture Source,Bloomberg and other databases
- Highly proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Solid work ethic and a passion for the securities industry
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet time sensitive deadlines

The reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role hasnot been adjusted for the applicable geographic location. A reasonableestimate of the current range is $175,000. Colleagues may be eligiblefor additional, discretionary incentive compensation based on thecolleague's and the firm's performance.
