Language Skills:English# What You Will DoAs a BIM/VDC Specialist (Electrical), you will be responsible for developing and maintaining electrical models, assisting in coordination efforts, and ensuring quality control of BIM deliverables. You will work closely with electrical contractors, project managers, foremen, and field teams to ensure constructability, accuracy, and seamless execution of electrical systems. This role requires a proactive mindset, strong technical skills, and extreme ownership in four key areas:**Project Setup & Execution** – Support BIM project setup, document management, and deliverable coordination.**Quality Assurance & Documentation –** Ensure electrical models, installation drawings, and prefabrication drawings meet industry and client standards.**Technical Modeling & Coordination –** Develop detailed electrical models, resolve clashes, and optimize layouts.**Client Collaboration & Problem Solving –** Work closely with electrical contractors, foremen, and project managers to optimize project success.Additionally, you’ll support remote teams, contribute to process improvements, and stay up to date on the latest electrical BIM/VDC trends.# Key Responsibilities**Project Setup & Coordination**Understand project scope, review contract documents, and participate in kickoff meetings.Develop and maintain BIM models for electrical systems, ensuring alignment with project requirements.Organize and manage project documents, installation drawings, and revision tracking.Ensure file naming, folder structures, and document sharing follow company standards.Assist the VDC Project Manager in setting up BIM execution strategies and coordination**Quality Control & Assurance (QA/QC)**Conduct daily model reviews to track progress and ensure accuracy.Review and redline electrical drawings, submittals, and contract documents.Ensure all electrical deliverables meet client standards, installation requirements, and NEC codes.Communicate with foremen to translate field best practices into the model.Perform QA/QC on installation drawings, ensuring precision before release to the field.**Client Collaboration & Problem Solving**Act as a frontline representative for BIM/VDC support with electrical contractors and field teams.Work hand-in-hand with foremen to address constructability concerns and optimize electrical layouts.Attend weekly BIM coordination meetings, present issues, and contribute to problem resolution.Support remote teams, provide technical direction, and ensure modeling efficiency.Assist with site visits to validate constructability and improve future BIM workflows.# What We’re Looking For**Experience:** 3+ years in BIM/VDC for electrical construction.**Problem-Solving Mindset:** Ability to analyze modeling challenges and provide constructible solutions.**Technical Proficiency:** Strong knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Bluebeam, and Procore.**Communication Skills:** Strong ability to collaborate with contractors, project managers, and field teams.**Industry Expertise:** Familiarity with electrical systems, conduit routing, NEC codes, and field installation practices.**Extreme Ownership Mentality:** Take full responsibility for BIM model accuracy, project success, and team collaboration.**Coordination & Clash Detection:** Experience working with multidisciplinary coordination efforts in BIM.We are seeking a **VDC Project Manager with expertise in electrical systems** to oversee BIM/VDC efforts on complex electrical construction projects. You will collaborate closely with **electrical contractors, project managers, and field teams** to ensure **constructability, accuracy, and seamless execution** of electrical systems on the project. This role requires **extreme ownership** in four key areas:**Client Service & Relationship Management** – Work closely with **electrical contractors, project managers, and field teams** to provide top-tier VDC support.# Key Responsibilities**Project Management****Own the VDC/BIM process for electrical scopes**, from project setup to execution and final closeout.Manage **electrical model development, coordination efforts, and installation drawings.****People Management:** Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance, providing purpose, direction, and motivation. Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with appropriate stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes.**Scheduling:** Oversee and maintain project schedules in collaboration with the Project Coordinator and VDC Specialists within the Project Management tool.**Risk Management:** Identify potential risks & mitigation measures.Lead **BIM coordination meetings**, ensuring electrical layouts align with mechanical, plumbing, and structural trades.**Estimating:** Prepare accurate and strategic cost estimates and project proposals.Conduct **site visits** to validate constructability, resolve field issues, and support installation teams.**Change Management:** Analyze project progress and, when necessary, adapt scope, timelines, and costs to ensure that the project team adheres to project requirements.**Resource Management:** Monitor and assign resources appropriately to streamline project efficiency and maximize deliverable outputs.**Technical Excellence & Quality Control**Ensure **electrical models and prefabrication drawings** meet contractual and field installation requirements.Perform **clash detection, routing optimization, and conduit coordination** in Navisworks and Revit.Work with electrical contractors to develop **prefabrication strategies, spool drawings, and material takeoffs.**Review **shop drawings, submittals, and specifications** to ensure compliance and accuracy.Assist in **power and lighting layouts, underground conduit routing, and panelboard coordination.****Client & Business Development Support**Serve as **the primary technical cooperator for electrical contractors:** foremen and project managers.Support **cost estimating, scope development, and change order tracking** for electrical VDC work.Contribute to **marketing efforts, proposal development, and industry networking opportunities.**# What We’re Looking For**Experience:**5+ years in VDC/BIM project management; prefer electrical experience.**Communication & Client Engagement:** Ability to work closely with electrical contractors, project managers, and foremen.**Industry Expertise:** Strong knowledge of NEC codes, conduit layouts, lighting, and electrical installation best practices.**Problem-Solving Mindset:** Ability to analyze coordination challenges and develop innovative, field-ready solutions.**Software Proficiency:** Navisworks, Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Procore, and 3D modeling software.**Extreme Ownership Mentality:** Take full responsibility for project success, client satisfaction, and team performance.**Leadership & Team Management:** Experience managing BIM specialists, remote teams, and project coordination efforts.# What You Will DoAs a BIM/VDC Specialist (Mechanical), you will be responsible for developing and maintaining mechanical models, assisting in coordination efforts, and ensuring quality control of BIM deliverables.
