Position: Multi-Office - Investment Management - Private Funds Institutional Investor Midlevel Associate

Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, a leading international law firm, is seeking a highly qualified midlevel associate to join our Chambers USA Band 1-ranked Investment Funds: Investor Representation team within our investment management practice.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in representing institutional investors in private funds, including private equity, private credit, real estate, and co-investment funds. Experience in negotiating purchase and sale agreements for secondary transactions or forming private funds is a plus but not required. Candidates must have strong academic credentials, excellent communication skills, and strong deal management and analytical abilities.

The position can be based in any of our offices in Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York, Orange County, Philadelphia, San Francisco, or Washington, DC. Candidates must be active members of the bar in the jurisdiction of the office for which they are applying.

Compensation

For positions in NY, CA, and Washington, DC, the salary range is $225,000 to $435,000. The final salary will be determined during the interview process and may vary based on experience, expertise, and market factors. The total compensation package may include medical, financial, and other benefits, such as 401(k) and paid time off. Employment is at-will, and the firm reserves the right to modify compensation and benefits at any time.
