As part of the Hivemind Commander (HMC) team, you’ll play an active role in shaping and implementing our HMC Core Product. This product is a foundational, extensible set of services that enable human operators (via command and control interfaces) and third parties (to interoperate with wider networks) to interact with active Hivemind Edge (HME) systems and aircraft. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with other engineers, solutions teams, and new customers to develop the core client for commanding, controlling, and understanding autonomy. Ultimately, your work will make it easier to task and trust autonomous solutions, enhancing the quality and reliability of our products to protect service members and civilians with AI systems.

• Contribute to the HMC platform that will revolutionize integration and interfacing with autonomous solutions.
• Develop, extend, and document interfaces for internal and customer use.
• Build a robust command and control software development kit (SDK) for users.
• Become deeply familiar with the entire HME System and its extension points.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• 10+ years of experience developing large, production-quality software systems.
• 3+ years of demonstrated experience with React, Node.js, TypeScript, and Material UI.
• Expertise in architectural design and implementation of large, complex distributed systems.
• Professional experience collaborating with designers and user experience researchers.
• A record of working hard, being trustworthy, maintaining high standards, and being kind.

• Experience in aerospace and/or robotics industries.
• Experience with command and control, mission planning, and operator systems for UAVs.
• Experience with modern C++ (C++17 and beyond).
• Experience with geospatial data and WebGL.
• Experience applying design systems to UI components.
