Summary:

An established and rapidly growing biopharmaceutical company is seeking a Director of Clinical Quality Assurance to lead and grow a dynamic QA team during an exciting phase of clinical development. This leadership role requires a hands-on professional with deep expertise in GCP compliance, clinical QA, and team management. The company has a strong pipeline, positive late-stage clinical data, and an open, down-to-earth culture with significant internal career mobility.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of Clinical QA activities to ensure GCP compliance across clinical trials.
• Manage a team of 4 direct reports.
• Develop and implement QA processes, policies, and training programs to support clinical development.
• Oversee clinical audit planning, vendor qualification, and inspection readiness activities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with clinical operations, regulatory, and external partners.
• Serve as a key QA point of contact for internal stakeholders and health authorities.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in Clinical QA within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with strong GCP expertise.
• Demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing QA teams.
• Proven ability to implement QA systems and ensure compliance in a clinical trial setting.
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to grow into a senior leadership role.
• Bachelor's degree in a life science or related discipline required.
