Labor and Employment Mid-Level Associate (Hybrid)

A well-established Law Firm has an immediate opening for a highly motivated mid-level associate to join its dynamic and growing Employment, Labor, Benefits, and Immigration practice group to support its California practice in its Los Angeles office . The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of substantive experience in employment litigation and a desire for trial work. Experience in defending wage and hour claims, including wage and hour class action lawsuits, is also desired. The successful candidate will also have meaningful experience in transactional employment work, including:

1. Drafting employment and severance agreements
2. Drafting EEOC position statements
3. Drafting DFEH responses
4. Conducting witness interviews and depositions

Having a background in counseling employers on federal and state employment law compliance, drafting workplace policies, and assisting clients with employment training programs is also a plus. Experience in traditional management labor relations is also advantageous.

The target annual pay range for this role in Los Angeles is $240,000-$295,000 . Actual pay will vary depending upon various factors, including relevant experience, skill-set, current business needs, and market factors. The compensation range listed is just one component of our firm's total comp package for employees, which, depending on the position, may also include discretionary bonuses and incentive packages, and firm-sponsored benefit programs.
