The Chief Investment & Financial Officer is a strategic executive leader with real estate finance and investment experience, a strong background in resort development and capital structuring, and the ability to navigate complex partnerships in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
Position Overview
Hawai‘i’s premier master-planned resort and real estate development firm seeks an experienced Chief Investment & Financial Officer to lead the company’s financial and investment strategy. This executive-level position will guide capital structuring, financial modeling, and investment planning across a portfolio of world-class resort and residential development projects. The role is ideal for a seasoned finance leader who thrives in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments and brings expertise in deal structuring, joint ventures, and long-term strategic planning.
Responsibilities
- Direct company-wide financial planning, budgeting, and performance management.
- Oversee financial modeling and return analysis for active and future development projects.
- Structure joint ventures, partnerships, and capital stacks for large-scale resort and residential investments.
- Lead underwriting, feasibility analysis, and financial due diligence.
- Manage relationships with lenders, investment partners, legal advisors, and external consultants.
- Supervise a finance and accounting team responsible for multi-entity operations.
- Collaborate closely with ownership and senior executives to drive long-term value creation.

Requirements
- Master’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field preferred (MBA highly valued).
- Minimum 10 years of progressive financial leadership, including 5+ years in real estate development or investment.
- Track record in complex deal structuring, investor relations, and financial oversight.
- Experience with land use, resort, or mixed-use development projects strongly preferred.
- Comfortable operating in an unstructured, entrepreneurial, family-owned business setting.
- Cultural awareness and commitment to building trusted relationships within Hawai‘i’s unique business environment.
