Role: Payroll Specialist with Workday( Contract)
Hiring Type :Contract – 3 Months+
Location: Washington DC
Office Schedule : 2 days in office
Pay: 31/hr
Our client, a well known higher education l, is looking for a Payroll Analyst due to project base work. Estimated length is 3 months, but likely the chance could go longer.
Requirements
· Min of 5 years of experience processing payroll for 1k+ people
· Experience doing Payroll for a LARGE, complex or multi entity
· Recent End to end payroll processing
· understanding of the DMV area tax rules
Job Description:
- Auditing and analysis for the production of assigned Biweekly and Monthly payrolls.
- This position will monitor and answer inquiries in the payroll email inbox. This position will answer various inquiries from customers as necessary.
- This position will manage the unclaimed property processing which requires monitoring checks on hold in payroll.
