Reports To: Head of Tax

Position Overview:

JCW is partnered with a leading investment management firm seeking a new tax hire for their growing team. Reporting directly to the Head of Tax, this role will work closely with senior leadership and play a key role in managing tax compliance, planning, and reporting for the firm’s investments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the tax compliance process, including reviewing partnership tax returns (Forms 1065, K-1s) and coordinating with external advisors.
• Assist with tax planning and structuring initiatives related to investment funds and corporate entities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate tax reporting and compliance with evolving tax regulations.

Qualifications:

• At least four years of partnership tax experience, preferably with financial services clients.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. federal and state tax laws related to partnerships and investment funds.
• Experience working in public accounting (Big 4 or national firm) or an in-house tax role at an asset management firm.
• Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
• CPA and/or Master’s in Taxation is a plus.
