Chief Purpose of this Position The Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at VCU is seeking Board-Eligible/Board-Certified Gastroenterologists to work flexible PRN shifts at Community Memorial Hospital, located in the scenic and welcoming community of South Hill, Virginia.
Duties & Responsibilities Clinical At least 7 consecutive day commitment Monday – Friday 8 am – 5 pm schedule, Sat‑Sun (call only) 2 days clinic, 3 days procedures weekly Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Board certified or board eligible in gastroenterology from an accredited training program Virginia licensure or ability to obtain General gastroenterology position Demonstrated ability to work in and foster an environment of respect, professionalism and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from all backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as a faculty at VCU.
