Head of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering — Remote & Flexible Hours

Your mission Lead the Mech & Aero team by setting priorities, assigning tasks, and reviewing/signing off deliverables.

Ensure team efficiency through mentoring, training, and continuous improvement.

Plan and develop team capacities and skills to meet project objectives.

Scout and evaluate new technologies to drive future design solutions.

Establish lean processes, methods, and tools (incl.

CAD & PLM) for efficient engineering work.

Define the mechanical architecture and optimal product structure.

Ensure design compliance with all requirements and compile related documentation.

Support Mechanical Engineering in daily operations Your profile Master’s degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering 10+ years in a similar or senior position, ideally in aerospace or drones, with proven success in delivering results Strong team leadership and organisational skills Good overview of functions of an aircraft (all departments in engineering and production) Extensive experience in FEM and CFD, including handcalcs, processes, methods and (SW-)tools CAD Systems expertise (Catia, 3DExperience) Hands-on experience in prototyping and testing Solid understanding of composite design Full proficiency in English language What you bring as a perfect candidate You thrive in collaborative environments and value collective success.
