Why This Role In a field increasingly defined by burnout, bureaucracy, and high‑acuity churn, this is a rare opportunity to practice thoughtful psychiatry in a clinic‑based, interdisciplinary setting.

Just clinic‑based psychiatry with time to think.

Just stable, relational outpatient work alongside some of Minnesota’s most skilled clinicians.

This role invites psychiatrists who want to use their full mind—medical, developmental, and relational—in service of healing.

Description This is psychiatry practiced at a human pace—with professional respect, diagnostic rigor, and room to think.

You’ll be part of a selective team building something better, not just bigger.

About Lorenz Clinic Lorenz Clinic is psychologist‑led and clinician‑owned—an independent system designed to put clinical judgment back in the hands of providers.

While others chase scale, we pursue quality, integrity, and long‑term outcomes.

Our model is built around systemic care, interdisciplinary teams, and a culture of reflective practice that makes the work feel sustainable and meaningful.

We’re not backed by private equity; we’re backed by clinicians like you.

We’ve intentionally designed teams where psychiatrists, psychotherapists, psychologists, and trainees work together—not in silos—to share insight and responsibility.

You’ll be part of a system that protects clinical depth and prioritizes reflective collaboration.

Have trained in or meaningfully practiced psychotherapy Understand the value of developmental formulations and systems theory Have taught, supervised, or contributed to the field beyond clinical encounters Stay engaged in the broader field—attending conferences, collaborating across disciplines, or exploring models that integrate developmental, relational, or systemic thinking.
