RYDE – Assist Seniors in Cupertino with Transportation About West Valley Community Services West Valley Community Services, Inc. is a non‑profit, community‑based agency that has been providing direct assistance and referral services to the west valley communities of Santa Clara County for over 45 years.
Founded in 1973, WVC serves homeless and low‑income individuals and families in Cupertino, Saratoga, West San Jose, Los Gatos, Monte Sereno, and surrounding mountain regions.
Volunteer job title Senior Transportation Driver Job Description RYDE is a senior transportation program helping adults who are 65 years and older.
As a driver, you will take participating senior adults to grocery stores, medical appointments and other local destinations within Santa Clara County.
You will help people in the community reach their desired destinations and prevent someone from being home‑bound.
Volunteers operate Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4 pm.
Hours of operation Monday–Friday 8 am – 12 pm, 1 pm – 5 pmSaturday and Sunday closed We welcome anyone who enjoys meeting people in the community, has a vehicle, and is looking for a way to help someone in need.
