Position Description The University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Information Technology Services is seeking a Senior Project Manager with an exceptional commitment to service excellence to join our Enterprise Portfolio & Project Management Office (ePMO) team collaborating with diverse and talented team members to modernize and transform the use of information technology across the campus enterprise.

As Senior Project Manager, you will lead a portfolio of security related initiatives, in support of the Office of the Chief Information Security Officer (OCISO), focused on creating and maintaining a secure environment for all UCLA faculty, staff, and students.

As a member of the Enterprise Portfolio & Project Management Office, the Senior Project Manager will be a key member of our team leading the implementation of information security programs and initiatives for the UCLA enterprise.

The Senior Project Manager will oversee comprehensive program and project plans, controlling scope and directing project budget resources towards the completion of deliverables.

The Senior Project Manager will collaborate with internal teams, subject matter experts and stakeholders to elicit functional and technical requirements, define future state processes, facilitate cross functional design and planning sessions to define platform and implementation strategies, project reporting, project communications, stakeholder engagement and organizational readiness analysis.

Additionally, the Senior Project Manager will be the key interface with vendors, implementation partners, organizational leaders and executives and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered within a specified time frame and budget; coordinates project communications, develops detailed weekly, monthly and quarterly status reports for overall migration effort; identifies and remediates key issues and risks to ensure project trajectory; ensures project documentation is organized and available to users; identifies and communicates industry best-practices.

Leads recruitment and hiring efforts to ensure project resources are aligned with each phase; coordinates onboarding and training of new project team members.

Manages project funding and budget; collaborates with project sponsors and financial leadership to ensure project is delivered within budget.
