Job Description

Spine Neurosurgeon The Department of Neurosurgery at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center is recruiting a neurosurgeon‑scientist specializing in adult spine care.

Candidates will join a multidisciplinary team of operative and non‑operative spine physicians in the UT Southwestern Spine Center and work at our established practices in Clements University Hospital and Parkland Hospital.

Applicants must have completed a spine fellowship, be board certified or eligible in Neurosurgery, and be eligible for a Texas Medical License.

Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience.

This position reports to both the Department Chair and Director of the Spine Center.

Successful candidates will be committed to patient care, resident, fellow, and medical student education, and to federally funded scholarly activities that advance clinical medicine.

Our program is nationally recognized and rapidly expanding.
