Development (Civil/Infrastructure) Engineer

As Development Engineer, you will be keen to broaden your experience beyond engineering design, gaining exposure to the full scope of site development.

This includes considering factors such as ecology, arboriculture, building regulations, brand aesthetics, and value engineering as part of a holistic design approach.

Responsibilities Prepare Technical Feasibility Reports for new developments.

Identify design risks and technical constraints.

Conduct buildability and regulatory compliance reviews.

Provide value engineering recommendations.

Review and coordinate technical aspects of planning applications.

Support due diligence processes in collaboration with the wider Land & Planning team.

Attend site visits and meetings with internal and external stakeholders.

Please note

This role focuses on reviewing and critiquing third-party consultant designs—no hands‑on design work is required.

Skills & Experience HND or degree in Civil Engineering. 3–5 years of relevant industry experience.

Experience with Bluebeam PDF Editor (desirable).

Strong organisational and communication skills.

Team‑oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively.
