Sessions, Israel & Shartle, LLC is seeking motivated Associate Attorneys to help grow our nationally recognized Employment Law Practice Group .

With 11 offices nationwide and attorneys licensed across multiple jurisdictions, our firm represents employers in complex litigation, regulatory matters, and day-to-day workplace advisory services.

Our Employment Law Practice The Employment Law Section is led by Kevin Barreca and David Israel.

Our team advises employers nationwide on workplace compliance, policy development, internal investigations, and high-stakes litigation defense.

We represent businesses of all sizes in matters ranging from single-plaintiff disputes to large-scale class and collective actions.

What Our Employment Attorneys Do Provide day-to-day employment law advice and legal support, including privileged internal investigations and documentation Draft severance agreements, termination documents, performance improvement plans, executive offer letters, and employment agreements Develop, revise, and update employment handbooks, workplace policies, and procedures Defend employers in nationwide employment litigation, including wage and hour, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims Represent employers in class and collective actions Respond to and defend regulatory complaints before federal, state, and local agencies Conduct wage and hour audits, including exempt/non-exempt classification analysis Advise clients during Department of Labor and state agency investigations Conduct affirmative action compliance reviews and OFCCP audits Draft and enforce arbitration agreements, non-compete agreements, and non-solicitation provisions Perform pay equity and disparate impact analyses Provide employment law training on topics including wage and hour compliance, FMLA, anti-harassment, and workplace misconduct prevention Conduct employment-related due diligence in mergers and acquisitions Advise on WARN Act compliance and workforce reductions Conduct highly technical Form I-9 audits and advise on federal employment authorization compliance Qualifications J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school Academic distinction (top 50% of class, law review, and/or moot court preferred) Employment law experience preferred but not required Insurance coverage experience helpful Admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (multi-state licensure and federal court admissions a plus) Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills Ability to manage and prioritize a significant caseload Strategic thinker with sound judgment Comfortable working in a paperless environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office Self-motivated with excellent communication skills What We Offer Competitive salary and bonus potential HSA-qualified medical plans 401(k) with automatic Firm contribution Nationwide platform with complex, sophisticated matters Direct client interaction and early responsibility Long-term growth within a growing management-side employment practice For more information about the firm and our practice areas, visit
