Director of FP&A | Private Equity-Backed Industrial Manufacturing | $1bn Revenue Compensation

$200k-225k, 20-30% bonus Finatal is exclusively retained on the search for a Director of FP&A to join a private equity-backed industrial manufacturing company generating ~$1bn in revenue.

This individual will play a key role in strengthening financial planning, reporting, and strategic decision-making across the organization.

This role requires a commercially minded finance leader who combines strong analytical rigor with the ability to tell the financial story of the business.

The company is looking for someone who has grown through corporate FP&A and understands how financials roll up across complex organizations, and can partner closely with leadership to drive performance.

The Director of FP&A will help build and enhance segment-level reporting, providing visibility into business performance and helping leadership make more informed strategic decisions.

This role will also support investor reporting and board materials, helping translate financial results into clear insights for private equity stakeholders.

This is an ideal role for someone who has both done the work and led teams, understands how the pieces of a complex manufacturing organization come together, and enjoys partnering across operations, supply chain, and commercial teams.

Responsibilities

Support the global FP&A function, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning Develop and enhance segment-level reporting to provide clear visibility into business performance and profitability Partner with the CFO and leadership team to deliver strategic analysis and long-term financial planning Build and deliver investor and board reporting, including financial presentations and materials Partner with sales and marketing leadership to provide commercial finance support and performance insights Work closely with operations and supply chain teams, providing analysis around cost structure, procurement, and operational performance Support and participate in continuous improvement (CI) initiatives across the organization Develop financial insights that help leadership understand drivers of growth, margin performance, and operational efficiency Requirements

Proven experience in FP&A leadership roles Strong cost and manufacturing finance background Experience building segment reporting and performance analytics in complex organizations Exposure to commercial finance supporting sales and marketing organizations Experience partnering with operations and supply chain teams in manufacturing environments Background preparing investor and board-level reporting Strong strategic thinker who can connect financial data to business strategy Leader who has both built the analysis and managed teams, with the ability to operate at both a strategic and detailed level This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic, operational environments and wants the opportunity to shape financial strategy and reporting within a growing PE-backed industrial platform. #J-18808-Ljbffr
