Drywall Estimator

A large, well-established drywall contractor in the New York City (Brooklyn) market is seeking a skilledDrywall Estimator to join a fast-paced, collaborative estimating team.

This organization handles a heavy mix of ground-up multifamily, conversions, hotels, condos, and commercial interiors—ranging from quick-turn small projects to large, complex builds exceeding $40M.

The team is growing rapidly, workload is high, and they are looking to bring on the right person as soon as possible .

What You’ll Be Doing Preparing accurate estimates for both small interior projects ($50K–$200K) and large ground-up developments up to $40M+ Performing detailed on-screen takeoffs using digital estimating software Managing a high volume of bids with quick turnaround times Collaborating closely with a young, energetic estimating department in an open-office environment Contributing to a busy and fast-moving workflow without requiring extensive oversight What They’re Looking For Experience Drywall estimating experience strongly preferred High proficiency with On-Screen Takeoff software (PlanSwift experience is a plus) Ability to handle both fast, small bids and multi-day large takeoffs Comfortable working on large ground-up multifamily projects with hundreds of units Skills & Traits Strong digital takeoff and estimating skills (software proficiency matters more than trade background) Able to “plug in” quickly and operate in a high-volume, fast-paced environment Collaborative communicator who fits well within a close-knit team Thrives in an open, informal office setting If interested, please apply and/or contact Ryan Sjoberg at OR . #J-18808-Ljbffr
