Job Description
Required Documentation and Qualifications Letter of Introduction Current CPR/First Aid (must obtain prior to first day of coaching if selected) Prior experience working with student-athletes Education
High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) Experience
At least two (2) years related experience preferred Prior successful experience working in a school setting or coaching student athletes strongly preferred Please note
We do not accept online CPR or First Aid certifications.
Certifications must be obtained by attending a hands‑on physical class.
Employment with the Oceanside Unified School District is contingent upon successfully passing a pre‑employment physical examination, including drug testing and fingerprint clearance.
OUSD will provide the needed forms to complete these requirements.
Fingerprint clearance and CPR & First Aid certifications are required prior to coaching.
