We are seeking a passionate and proactive leader to oversee daily operations, support a team of dedicated educators and ensure a high-quality learning environment for children and families.
As Director, you will uphold brand and licensing standards, lead staff development, implement our Wonder of Learning® proprietary curriculum, ensure highest level of health and safety and build strong school-family-community relationships.
The ideal candidate must have strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills and a clear understanding of a developmentally appropriate learning program for young children.

Director Key Responsibilities includes
Operations and Compliance
Lead daily operations while upholding brand, regulatory and policy standards complying with state childcare licensing regulations and Goddard quality assurance standards.
Faculty Management
Hire, train, supervise and support staff.
Build a high-performing, talented and customer-focused team by investing in faculty development, coaching, and career growth.
Curriculum and Program Development
Implement our proprietary Wonder of Learning®* program, designed to spark curiosity, support individual growth and inspire a lifelong love of learning.
Family and Community Engagement
Build strong relationships with families and promote the school in the community and maintain high enrollment.
Financial Management
Manage budget, enrollment targets, and resources strategically to support financial health and school success.
Health and Safety
Maintain a safe, clean and prepared environment for children, staff and families.
Leadership
Lead with a growth mindset to continuously elevate program quality, proactively develop talent, and prepare the school for future success.
School Culture
Cultivate and sustain a positive, collaborative and trust-based school culture where children feel safe and nurtured, families feel valued, and educators feel supported and empowered.
Address challenges with composure and professionalism, fostering accountability and consistent excellence across the school.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field Must pass required state background checks and meet state minimum education, experience and credential requirements At least 3 years of experience teaching in early childhood education and 2 years in a leadership/management role in a licensed childcare center or preschool Strong knowledge of child development, early learning best practices and team leadership Effective organization, time management, multitasking and problem-solving skills while working in a fast-paced environment.
