  • San Antonio, Texas, United States Job Description Senior Medical Science Liaison – Neuroimmunology for the South Central region (Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma). Provide fair, balanced, and objective scientific information and education to opinion leaders (OLs), healthcare professionals (HCPs), and internal partners. The Sr. MSL is an established scientific and clinical knowledge lead on current and future J&J Innovative Medicine products per therapeutic area alignment. They stay abreast of current scientific and treatment trends, provide research support, and operate with high integrity following credo values. Responsibilities Build external relationships with identified KOLs and health‑care providers (MD, PA, NP, RN, Pharm‑D, bio coordinators) and develop and manage a geographical territory; prioritize in‑person engagements when appropriate. Develop and maintain a territory strategic plan, including educational activities with identified OLs, HCPs, institutions, and community practices. Demonstrate competency and experience in the disease state with foundational competencies in influence, results focus, communication, stakeholder engagement, product & therapeutic area knowledge, and data insights & dissemination. Identify and collaborate with field‑based partners to support healthcare providers and positively impact patient care. Apply competencies of change management, time management, and innovation to enhance agility. Conduct all activities in accordance with current regulatory and healthcare compliance guidelines. Travel primarily throughout assigned geography (approximately 60%) with infrequent out‑of‑geography travel. Consistently demonstrate strategic territory planning and strong relationships within the territory. Consistently demonstrate strong scientific acumen. Support department operations and internal partners. Qualifications Required – A PharmD, PhD, MD, NP or PA with 2+ years of relevant neurology, immunology, and/or neuromuscular experience. 2–4 years MSL experience, and/or 2–3 years of relevant clinical or research experience, and/or related pharma work. Requires travel of approximately 60%, including overnight and weekends as needed. Valid driver’s license. Preferred – Launch experience in rare disease. Significant experience giving presentations.
