Job Description
Monroe Capital is seeking an investment Business Development professional to support and promote the firm’s Private Credit offerings within the Wealth Management Channel. The individual will develop and maintain relationships with independent RIAs and family offices. This role will also contribute to the overall Marketing and Investor Relations program at Monroe Capital, involving special projects and additional responsibilities.

This position requires significant travel and is remote-based in the Pacific Northwest.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with Financial Advisors, educate them on Monroe's private credit offerings, and identify sales opportunities to increase market share.
- Conduct meetings, presentations, and conference calls, delivering product knowledge and building rapport with investors.
- Attend industry events and conferences as appropriate.
- Develop understanding of Monroe’s platforms and offerings.
- Stay informed on industry and market trends.
- Use management reporting tools to track sales and client activity.
Position Requirements
- 5-10 years of external Business Development experience in the advisor-sold space, with extensive connections in the independent wealth management channel, such as RIAs and independent broker-dealers.
- Proven success in fundraising within the Wealth Management Channel.
- Established relationships across various wealth management channels.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field (preferred).
- Series 7 and 63 licenses.

- Strong time management and responsiveness.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Experience in alternative asset management, such as private credit, private equity, or hedge funds.
- CFA or CAIA designation preferred.
Compensation
The base salary range is estimated at $225,000, with total compensation including discretionary awards and benefits such as health, retirement, and paid time off, depending on skills and experience. Details will be provided upon offer.
