We are looking for a technical product leader who wants to build high-quality products and help scale a large, profitable business in the devices, entertainment, and productivity space. This role will focus on the Foundational SW apps and companion device experiences for our next generation of Amazon tablets, that deliver a new modern experience for the age of AI. Key job responsibilities

1. Lead the development and execution of a bold, customer-focused product strategy and vision for the holistic customer experience, including Foundational SW apps and companion device experiences.
2. Lead initiatives in various stages of the lifecycle, from ideation to development to launch.
3. Define creative, high-quality, long-term product roadmaps based on team strategy and vision.
4. Develop detailed, crisp business requirements and user stories that can be used to create product specifications and architecture.
5. Manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, performance, and operational excellence.
6. Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals.
7. Create buy-in for the product vision and strategy with leadership and internal partners.
8. Drive product launches in partnership with Engineering, Business Development, Go to Market, PR, and other cross-functional teams.
9. Drive decisions across cross-functional teams that include engineering, UX, and partner teams.

A day in the life

While each day may differ a bit, you will always learn something new, innovate and delight our customers, and grow. You will be the primary advocate of our customers and define the best product experiences for our next generation Amazon Tablets to delight them, while also adding business value. You will own the end to end customer experience for apps and companion devices, providing detailed guidance to engineering teams to deliver a great customer experience and technical tradeoffs. This could mean defining a product vision, partnering with engineering to optimize the product, or identifying ways to address customer feedback.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

1. 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience.
2. Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
3. Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
4. Experience with end to end product delivery.
5. Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
6. Experience managing technical products or online services.
7. Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning.
8. Bachelor's degree.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

1. MBA.
2. Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight.
3. Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools.
