Cooley has an opportunity available for a 4th-5th year attorney with private equity and M&A experience. Ideal candidates should have excellent drafting, writing, and analytical skills, strong attention to detail, organizational, verbal, interpersonal, and project management skills. Experience in drafting and negotiating purchase and merger agreements, LLC and LP agreements, and other ancillary transaction documents, as well as meeting the day-to-day requirements of private equity fund and portfolio company clients, is expected. The ideal candidate will have good business and strategic judgment and play a lead role as an extension of the client business teams, working in a team-oriented and dynamic environment. Excellent academic credentials and prior large firm experience working with private equity sponsors are required. EOE.

The expected annual pay range for this position is $310,000 - $365,000. Final offer amount will depend on geographic location, applicable experience, and skillset of the candidate.
